Sunrise Sports And Fitness is looking for Yoga Instructor to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey As a Yoga Instructor, your role is to guide and instruct individuals or groups in various yoga practices to promote physical and mental well-being Here are some key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with being a Yoga Instructor:Teaching Yoga Classes: You lead yoga classes, guiding participants through various yoga poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation techniques You create a safe and supportive environment for students of different levels and abilities Lesson Planning: You develop lesson plans that include a sequence of yoga poses and techniques suitable for the specific class or group You consider factors such as the participants' experience, fitness levels, and any specific needs or goals they may have Demonstration and Instruction: You demonstrate yoga poses and techniques, explaining and instructing students on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and modifications to accommodate different abilities or limitations You provide clear verbal instructions and physical cues to help students understand and perform the poses correctly Safety and Injury Prevention: You prioritize safety during yoga classes, ensuring that students practice within their limits and avoid potential injuries You offer modifications or variations of poses to accommodate individual needs and provide guidance on proper body alignment and technique to minimize the risk of injury Providing Guidance and Support: As a Yoga Instructor, you offer guidance and support to students, encouraging them to explore their own practice, develop mindfulness, and cultivate a positive mindset You provide verbal cues and gentle corrections to help students deepen their practice and improve their technique
