Workday Services FINS Senior Consultant

As a member of the Workday Services team at WPP, your role will involve deploying, supporting, and enhancing the existing Workday deployment. You will play a crucial role in the ongoing transformation of agencies and functions within the company. Reporting to the Workday FINS Product Manager, you will provide senior levels of technical and process expertise across Workday FINs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with process owners, Shared Service Centre, and stakeholders to support Workday FINs and integrated applications effectively. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting and developing Finance and PSA reports in Workday - Providing day-to-day support including monitoring and addressing service requests - Assisting business and SSC colleagues during key financial activities such as month-end close and accounting system data loads - Gathering requirements for report enhancements and delivering new reports - Building reporting self-service capabilities - Safeguarding global standards and principles against competing requests - Training and onboarding future Reporting team members in Mexico City - Championing recommendations for continuous improvement in reports and rationalization of reports To excel in this role, you will need: - Experience with Workday Financials with a background in Finance preferred - Proficiency in Accounting related processes - Proficiency in building and maintaining Advanced, Composite, and Matrix Reports in Workday - Strong working knowledge of Workday Financials, Report Writing, Business Process Administration, and system configuration - Ability to assist in the review, testing, and implementation of software updates and enhancements - Excellent data analysis skills, Excel, and PowerPoint presentation skills - Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization - Consultative approach in interacting with stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop solutions - Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment As a member of the Workday Services team, you will be part of a flagship program that will see Workday deployed across WPP's global landscape, impacting Finance, Projects, and People functions.
