Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Business-IT Translation: Act as a bridge between HR/ESS and IT, translating business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications for the Workday platform.
  • HRIT Roadmap Oversight: Drive the evolution of the HRIT roadmap in collaboration with HR and ESS leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and prioritization of initiatives within your assigned area primarily Core HCM along with Payroll, Absence and Advanced Compensation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and best practices to optimize the employee experience and operational efficiency within the Workday ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications/ skills

  • Workday experience across multiple modules primarily Core HCM along with Payroll, Absence and Advanced Compensation.
  • Proven experience acting as a translator between business and technical teams, with a strong understanding of both HR processes and Workday configuration.
  • Experience in leading or supporting HRIT projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative mindset and ability to influence without authority.
  • Deep familiarity with Workday tools and functionality; experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Workday certification(s) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Proven expertise in Workday Core HCM and other HR platforms.
  • Strong track record of leading HR technology transformations and system implementations.
  • Deep knowledge of HR systems strategy, governance, and optimization.
  • Ability to drive digital transformation and automation in HR processes.
  • Strong project management and change leadership skills.
  • Expertise in data analytics, workforce insights, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
