Workday Analyst

As a Workday Analyst at Ciena, you will report to the Director, People & Culture Technology and utilize your experience with HRIS/HRMS tools, particularly Workday, to support various functions within the organization. Your responsibilities will include providing advice and support to users, maintaining data integrity in the Workday platform, and analyzing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement. You will have the autonomy to propose process and tech enhancements, contributing to a great user experience for teams across Ciena. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide advice and support to users of the Workday platform - Scope requirements and maintain data integrity - Analyze business processes and workflows for improvement opportunities - Propose process and tech enhancements to improve efficiency - Collaborate with diverse and globally dispersed customers and team members **Qualifications Required:** - Post-secondary education in Human Resources - 2-5 years of experience with Workday configuration in HCM, Reporting, and Data Management - Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality improvement - Curiosity about leveraging automation to enhance employee experience - Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple initiatives concurrently Ciena values diversity and strives to create an inclusive environment where employees feel respected, valued, and heard.
