Job Description

As a Workday Administrator/Configurator, you will support our clients PXT (HR) team by configuring and managing Workday HCM and related modules, delivering year-end projects (e.g., compensation cycles, benefits enrollment, compliance reporting), and handling daily system administration. This role requires hands-on expertise in Workday configuration, integrations, and reporting, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines in a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure Workday HCM business processes (e.g., onboarding, performance reviews, compensation planning) to support year-end HR initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain calculated fields, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and custom objects to optimize HR workflows.
  • Build and manage integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow with third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits providers).
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Prism Analytics for HR analytics and compliance needs.
  • Perform daily system administration tasks, including user support, security role management, tenant maintenance, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and compliance teams to gather requirements, test configurations, and ensure compliance.
  • Support Workday release updates and ensure configurations align with audit and regulatory standards.
  • Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to the clients team as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday administration and configuration experience, with expertise in HCM module.
  • Proven track record in configuring business processes, calculated fields, and EIBs.
  • Experience building integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to create custom reports/dashboards with Workday Report Writer and Prism Analytics.
  • Prior work in HR year-end projects (e.g., compensation, benefits, compliance reporting) is highly desirable.
  • Technical: Proficiency in Workday configuration tools, XML/XSLT, SQL, and integration middleware.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with banking regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR) and Workday security models (role-based, domain security).
  • Soft: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work with U.S.-based stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services or banking, particularly with Workday Payroll or Recruiting modules.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Prior experience supporting rapid onboarding and tight deadlines.
