Safety Specialist Work at Height Reporting To : - Project Safety Manager/ Lead Educational Qualification Required Any degree/ Diploma - Mechanical /Civil + WAH safety qualification Experience Required Quantity: 10+ years Quality: Should have worked in large construction sites in India and abroad. Must have hands on experience on green field / brown field projects Purpose of the Position: To prepare & carry out WAH related intervention among site personnel & conduct awareness programs to sustain an accident-free site related to WAH. He is responsible for successfully implementing Work at height procedure with a support and coordination of High risk Focus team (WAH). Review method statement, HIRA & PTW Daily WAH Clearance implementation through implementation of PTW system. Coordination with medical center for pre-job and regular health check-up of personnel medical screening implementing lifeline system and its periodical inspections as per national and international standards, Conducting elevated level housekeeping Drive Conducting / witnessing Tool box talks Inspections Work at height Safety Equipment inspection, Fall prevention & Fall protection Routine inspection and raise observations Able to perform real time rescue operation in an emergency. Able to identify ER team members inside the plant and train them as much as required as per the site manpower and work nature. Able to conduct real time rescue training regularly to the ERT members. Organising WAH Mock Drills Participate in walkthrough with client officials. Participate in High risk Focus meeting and raise high severity WAH points which observed during the week. Provide inputs to management on strengthening the system to manage lifting and rigging activities. To prepare and submit weekly/Monthly MIS to Project Safety manager
