About The Company

• Build, customise, and maintain WordPress themes and child-themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for client projects.
• Implement responsive layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first performance.
• Configure and extend WooCommerce and selected plugins to deliver e-commerce functionality and custom payment/shipping flows.
• Experinced with Elementor, and more plugins.
• Troubleshoot bugs, optimise page speed and perform basic security hardening and plugin updates for live sites.
• Work with designers and content teams to convert Figma/Sketch mockups into pixel-accurate, accessible pages.
• Use Git for version control, document changes, and follow a feedback-driven QA loop with mentors.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• Hands-on experience or coursework with WordPress, theme edits, template hierarchy, and plugin setup.
• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals and experience building responsive pages.
• Familiarity with PHP basics and MySQL queries used in WordPress contexts.
• Comfortable using Git, local development environments (e.g., LocalWP, XAMPP), and browser dev tools.
• Preferred
• Exposure to WooCommerce, basic SEO best practices, and page-speed optimisation techniques.
• Previous internship or freelance projects showcasing WordPress builds or theme/plugin customisations.
