Job Overview: The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining advanced WordPress solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality web projects. Responsibilities: Develop responsive WordPress websites from scratch. Customize themes, plugins, and templates per project requirements. Perform website optimization (speed, SEO, mobile). Implement security best practices, backups, and monitoring. Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services. Manage website migration, hosting, and deployment. Provide technical support, bug fixing, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and content teams. Maintain technical documentation. Mentor junior developers when required. Required Skills & Experience: 5–6 years of WordPress development experience. Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery. Experience with custom theme/plugin development. Familiarity with WooCommerce, Elementor, WPBakery, ACF. Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization. Experience with hosting (cPanel, Plesk, VPS, AWS). Git/version control knowledge. Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Headless WordPress (REST API, GraphQL). Exposure to React/Next.js or modern JavaScript frameworks. Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
