Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites for our clients. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to create unique and functional websites.
• Collaborate with designers to convert website designs into responsive WordPress themes.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize website performance by implementing caching, magnification, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
• Ensure cross-browser & cross-device compatibility of websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs, compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct thorough testing of websites to identify and fix any usability or functionality issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and web development trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites.
• Extensive knowledge of WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization.
• Familiarity with web standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 yr to 3yrs experience with popular WordPress frameworks and page builders (e.g., Genesis Framework, Elementor, Divi).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with website hosting and server management.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch).
