Position: WordPress Back-End Developer

Experience: 2 Years Location: Ludhiana/ On-site

Employment Type: Full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress plugins using PHP.
• Build and enhance custom back-end features, including CPTs, taxonomies, admin menus, and custom settings pages.
• Work with WordPress Core, including hooks (actions/filters), REST API, and WP Query.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites.
• Troubleshoot and optimize website performance, database queries, and server-side logic.
• Ensure security best practices, including sanitization, escaping, nonces, and capability checks.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end functionality.
• Maintain documentation and follow coding standards (WordPress + PSR).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years professional WordPress/PHP development.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress plugin development.
• Proficient in WordPress Core, theme structure, hooks, and template hierarchy.
• Experience with WordPress REST API (custom endpoints).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery (basic to intermediate).
