WordPress Developer

About the Role:

Formonex Solutions is seeking an experienced and creative WordPress Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in building custom WordPress themes, plugins, and high-performance websites. You’ll collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend developers to deliver top-notch digital experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD/PSD designs into fully functional WordPress websites
• Ensure responsive and SEO-friendly front-end implementation
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues including performance, security, and bugs
• Optimize site speed and performance using caching, minification, and best practices
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools when necessary
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time projects
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce, ACF, CPTs, and custom taxonomies
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-browser issues and mobile responsiveness
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with REST APIs and headless WordPress
• Familiarity with security best practices (e.g., Wordfence, Sucuri)
• Experience working in Agile environments and task management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
• Knowledge of deployment workflows (cPanel, FTP, SSH)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
