Exemplifi was founded in 2018 by Stanford technologists and is based in Palo Alto, the heart of Silicon Valley. We are experts in building and managing enterprise websites and have built websites for some of the biggest global brands. The Work We Do

We create sleek, modern, and efficient websites that look great and deliver phenomenal uptime, security, SEO, and accessibility. All of our clients are in the US and European markets. We work on four kinds of engagements: Website Builds, Site Redesigns, Regular Maintenance, and Lift-Shift projects (where we shift the CMS and don’t do any redesign).

We have established partnerships with – and are experts in – the top CMS products including Adobe Experience Manager, Kentico, Drupal, Webflow, Contentful, and WordPress. As a company, we have the ability to deliver websites on any of these platforms.

The Opportunity

What you'll do

• You will be working with design files provided by our designers. These are usually submitted in tools such as Figma, InVision, Adobe XD and Zeplin.
• You will think through and design the style guides and build reusable components based on these designs
• You will work closely with the front-end development team to implement this style guide and components with the CMS.
• You will do robust content modeling to meet the client's requirements
• You will build high-quality and high-performance templates based on the designs.
• This work has to be responsive across multiple device breakpoints, animation-oriented, AA compliant, and SEO friendly.

The skills we'll need

• A minimum of 4+ years of work experience in wordpress
• Superb PHP and MySQL skills (mandatory)
• Robust VanillaJS + JQuery skills (mandatory)
• Robust knowledge of WordPress coding standards.
• Thorough understanding of the WordPress plugin ecosystem
• Robust working knowledge of DevOps pipeline and build/deploy tools (Git)
• Basic knowledge on drupal CMS

Bonus skills

• Experience with the WPEngine and WordPressVIP DevOps Platforms
• Gutenberg knowledge
• WordPress Multisite
• Experience with Node, React, or Vue frameworks
