Job Overview:

We are seeking a WordPress Developer with custom PHP development expertise to join our tech team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of WordPress core, plugin/theme customization, and be capable of building dynamic, secure, and scalable web solutions using PHP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize WordPress websites based on client requirements
• Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress themes
• Build or extend WordPress plugins and custom post types using PHP
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable PHP code for custom functionalities
• Ensure site speed, security, and mobile responsiveness
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways as required
• Perform regular updates, maintenance, backups, and site migrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues quickly
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and project managers
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress and PHP development trends

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of WordPress development experience
• Strong command of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Good knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, hooks, and filters
• Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce workflows
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON handling
• Version control (Git) knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
