Overview

WordPress expert with strong command in WordPress theme and plugin development. Should have a strong control on HTML, CSS and JS skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding client requirements and functional specifications.
• Developing, maintaining and optimizing secure, reusable and scalable websites.
• Work closely with the architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new application development
• Excellent command on Core PHP and Wordpress.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, j Query, HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML.
• Good object oriented and database programming skills
• Should have good Communication skills.
• Should have problem solving, prioritizing tasks, multi tasking abilities
• Should be able to understand and handle tasks independently.
• Ability to work to deadlines.

WordPress Developer Skills

• Extensive experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Deep understanding of WordPress core structure.
• Advanced knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Experience with WordPress REST API.
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues.

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including CSS Grid/Flexbox.
• Intermediate to advanced JavaScript/jQuery skills.
• Mastery of responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.

PHP and MySQL Skills

• Solid foundation in PHP programming, including OOP concepts.
• Deep understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
• Experience with MySQL database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of PHP debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

SEO Skills

• In-depth knowledge of on-page and technical SEO factors.
• Experience with popular SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, All in One SEO Pack).
• Ability to track and measure SEO performance using analytics tools.
• Knowledge of current SEO trends and algorithm updates.
