Job Description

Job Title: Wintel L2 Support Engineer
Location: Navi MumbaiDepartment: IT Infrastructure / Server OperationsJob Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities:Provide Level 2 support for Windows server-related incidents and service requests.Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and performance monitoring.Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user account management.Support and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).Work with backup tools and ensure scheduled backups are successful.Collaborate with L1 support to escalate/resolve complex issues.Document resolutions, procedures, and configuration changes.Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams for hardware/software issues.Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3-5 years of experience in Wintel support or system administration
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
Hands-on with VMware or Hyper-V environments
Good understanding of server hardware, storage, and backup solutions
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Certifications:

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (MCSA / MCSE / AZ-800/AZ-801)
VMware VCP or equivalent
ITIL Foundation certification
