Windows System Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Server Admin Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting both on-premises and Azure cloud environments, with specialized knowledge in ESXi, Hyper-V, and vCenter. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of our server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Management: Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Virtualization Management:

Configure and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and vCenter.

Perform tasks related to virtual machine provisioning, configuration, and management.

Cloud Integration:

Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.

Implement and manage hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises and Azure environments.

Configuration and Deployment: Configure and deploy server and virtualization components, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.

Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to track the performance of servers and virtual environments, implementing improvements as needed.

Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect server and cloud infrastructure, including encryption, access control, and monitoring.

User Support:

Provide first-line support to end-users for server and virtualization-related issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.

Assist users with accessing and using server resources and virtual machines.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.

Provide guidance and support for remote access solutions, including VPN and remote desktop services.

Conduct training sessions and create user guides to help users understand and effectively use server and virtualization solutions.
