Job Description

You will be responsible for planning and designing new systems and implementing significant changes or upgrades to ensure system resilience. Your expertise will be crucial in recommending new technologies, applications, and future home-grown applications for business use. You will manage and assist in the execution of large and complex hardware and software projects, providing expert-level advice for troubleshooting and solving intricate problems. Understanding the architecture and data flow of interconnected systems will be essential, enabling you to propose solutions that enhance both business and technical user experience and productivity. You will lead disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing, swiftly escalating issues to vendors and management to minimize impact. Your role will require an excellent understanding of Mouser's applications and systems architecture, as well as the utilization of business technology across different departments. Being aware of key business initiatives and striving to deliver the highest level of service to customers and suppliers will be key. You will provide technical analysis and innovative ideas to design scalable and reliable business solutions, leveraging your extensive knowledge of network, hardware, scripting, operating systems, and application software. Your technical intuitive capabilities will help in integrating various systems, applications, and hardware to offer stable, technology-rich solutions. Maintaining a positive attitude, fostering a good team environment, and possessing strong mentoring skills are crucial aspects of this role. You will interact professionally with all levels of staff, including company executives, and demonstrate expertise in at least two key technologies such as server administration, server virtualization, server OS, networking, or security. Building effective relationships with business associates, monitoring system performance, and providing management with reports on system and application KPIs will be part of your responsibilities. Experience in Windows Server environment/architecture, Cloud or Network technologies, and certifications in desktop or server virtualization, server OS, networking, security, or applications will be advantageous.
