Wholesale Credit Risk Analyst - Officer

As an Underwriter Analyst at Citi, your role involves delivering best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration to support ICG Risk and BCMA in ensuring the safety and soundness of wholesale lending. You will be responsible for a portfolio of ICG Risk Relationships, conducting Credit Risk Analysis, producing Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and supporting Ad-Hoc Transactions and Portfolio & Industry Reviews. Reporting directly to the ICM Underwriter Manager, your responsibilities include assessing credit and financial strength, continuous portfolio monitoring, partnership with stakeholders, and supporting various initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess the credit and financial strength of Citis counterparts through fundamental credit analysis using quantitative and qualitative factors - Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings based on independent assessment and judgment - Continuously monitor the portfolio, follow industry trends, and escalate potential credit issues - Partner with regional and industry stakeholders in implementing credit assessment and monitoring standards - Support ICG Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives - Travel occasionally (less than 10%) **Qualifications Required:** - 1-3 years of relevant experience - Fundamental analytical skills with an understanding of key financial components - Basic knowledge of financial statements, GAAP accounting, and industry research - Understanding of Credit Policy and procedures - Ability to identify and escalate potential risk issues promptly - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA) or related subject As an Underwriter Analyst at Citi, you will play a vital role in supporting the credit risk analysis and monitoring functions while contributing to the safety and soundness of wholesale lending across ICG.
