Job Summary:

Maintenance Shift Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of production line breakdowns during shifts to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems across plant and utilities.
• Inspect, repair, and calibrate electrical/instrumentation components to meet required specifications.
• Diagnose and repair faults in machine panels, motors, pumps, and AC/DC control wiring in food production and packing machines.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and circuit diagrams for maintenance and setup.
• Make electrical adjustments and settings in machines to ensure product quality and production continuity.
• Handle HT transformers, LT panels, APFC panels, DG sets, VFDs, and screw compressors as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with electrical safety standards during shift operations.
• Support machine setup activities including calibration, cleaning, documentation, and line clearance.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with production and support teams to ensure high-quality output and minimal wastage.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  B. Tech in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

• Experience:

  2+ years of experience in FMCG / Food / Beverage / Consumer Products manufacturing.

• Technical Skills:

• PLC Programming & Troubleshooting
• VFD Operation & Maintenance
• DG Set and Screw Compressor Maintenance
• Electrical & Mechanical Fault Diagnosis
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Practices

• Other Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts
