Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption) Oxygen Plant equipment such as compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps, adsorbers, and valves.
Ensure uninterrupted and safe oxygen supply to Blast Furnace operations with required purity, pressure, and flow.
Control and monitor plant parameters through PLC/DCS/SCADA systems.
Coordinate with Blast Furnace, Mechanical, Electrical, and Utility teams for smooth plant operation.
Troubleshoot process issues, support maintenance activities, and ensure equipment reliability.
Optimize VPSA cycles for better efficiency and energy consumption.
Maintain process documentation, daily operation logs, and performance reports.
Follow safety standards (LOTO, PPE, ISO compliance) and support audit requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

Experience:

Engineer: 25 years in VPSA / PSA / Cryogenic Oxygen Plant operations (Steel / Gas industry)
Sr. Engineer: 5–8 years in Oxygen Generation & Distribution for Blast Furnace / Process Industries
