Welding & Fabrication Foreman

Supervise daily welding and fabrication activities at the workshop or site. Lead and manage welders and fabricators to ensure work is completed safely and on time. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Ensure welding and fabrication work meets quality standards and specifications. Plan work schedules, allocate manpower, and monitor productivity. Inspect finished jobs for accuracy, strength, and quality. Ensure proper use and maintenance of welding machines, tools, and equipment. Enforce safety rules and ensure a safe working environment. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and management for smooth project execution. Maintain daily work reports, material usage records, and manpower attendance. Required SkillsStrong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC, Gas Welding). Experience in metal fabrication, cutting, fitting, and assembly. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Leadership and team-handling skills. Good communication and problem-solving abilities. Qualification & ExperienceITI / Diploma in Welding or Fabrication preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in welding and fabrication, with foreman or supervisory experience preferred.
