Position Overview

The Website Sales Specialist is responsible for driving online revenue by selling digital products, services, or website solutions to prospective customers. This role focuses on generating leads, managing inbound website inquiries, delivering product presentations, and converting prospects into paying customers. The ideal candidate understands digital marketing, online consumer behavior, and website technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Respond to website inquiries, chats, and form submissions to convert leads into sales.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects via email, calls, and social platforms.
  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and consultations for potential clients.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate website products or services.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to increase repeat sales.
  • Manage customer accounts from initial contact through onboarding and post-sale support.
  • Ensure a smooth customer journey and exceptional service experience.

Website & Digital Performance

  • Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and conversion funnels to identify sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize landing pages, promotions, and product listings.
  • Provide feedback on website UX improvements that support higher sales conversions.

Sales Reporting & Targets

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly online sales targets.
  • Track opportunity pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, customer insights, and market trends.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Proven experience in website sales, online sales, or digital product sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of website functionality, hosting, SEO, or e-commerce concepts.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems and digital communication tools.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Preferred

  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, etc.).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media).
  • Background in tech, SaaS, or website development services.
