Website Developer

Job Summary

Milestone Digital is looking for a skilled and creative Website Developer to build, maintain, and optimize web platforms for our clients and in-house projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, creative problem-solving skills, and an eye for design and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites using modern technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.)
• Work with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
• Implement UI/UX best practices and ensure mobile-first design
• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party tools
• Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO
• Manage website updates, backups, and security
• Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues promptly
• Shopify

Required Skills

• Proficiency in front-end languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with frameworks: React.js, Vue.js, or Bootstrap (optional based on your stack)
• Knowledge of back-end languages: PHP, Node.js, or similar
• Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or custom CMS platforms
• Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in website development (or equivalent freelance/portfolio work)
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (optional)
• Portfolio of completed web projects
