Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites and web applications using PHP.
• Design and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to translate visual designs and content strategies into functional WordPress sites.
• Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO, including image optimization, caching, and database optimization.
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues, ensuring smooth functionality and a positive user experience.
• Manage all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS, including updates, backups, and security measures.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed to extend website functionality.
• Ensure website security and implement best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, WordPress developments, and PHP best practices.
• Provide ongoing website maintenance and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PHP & WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and the WordPress ecosystem.
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development principles.
• Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
