About the Role

Weʼre looking for a motivated and creative Junior Web Designer to join our growing team. As a fresher, youʼll work alongside a senior designer to support both UI/UX design and marketing creatives, from concept to execution. You'll be exposed to a wide variety of design and frontend tasks that will help you build a strong foundation in web and digital design.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the senior designer to create web page layouts, UI components, and assets using Figma.
Convert designs into responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML/CSS code.
Support the creation of marketing materials such as email templates, case study templates, logos, and animated GIFs. Assist in developing and maintaining email templates, case study templates, and other design assets for the marketing team.
Support day-to-day design tasks and iterate on feedback efficiently.
Ensure consistency in design and user experience across platforms by following branding and style guidelines. Required Skills Strong understanding of Figma for UI/UX and layout design.
Basic hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design. Familiarity with design fundamentals such as layout, typography, and color theory.
Good communication and a collaborative attitude.

Good to Have

Experience or familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow.
Basic knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and web usability best practices.
Understanding of browser behavior, media queries, breakpoints, and cross-browser compatibility.
Awareness of performance optimization techniques (e.g., minifying CSS, optimizing images, lazy loading).
Familiarity with media types (SVG, WebP, PNG, etc.) and choosing the right file formats for web efficiency.
Exposure to tools like Google Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, or WebPageTest to evaluate website performance.
Awareness of design-to-code handoff tools or collaboration tools like Zeplin, Avocode, or Figma Inspect
