Web Automation Testing using Python - Tester Job Title : Web Automation Test Engineer – Selenium with Python Location : Hyderabad, India Experience : Minimum 5 Years Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Web Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium framework and Python programming. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of web application testing, test automation strategies, and agile methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest level of quality in our web-based applications. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python. • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. • Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product owners in agile sprints to identify test cases and automation candidates. • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams for resolution. • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all testing activities and results. • Implement best practices for automation and testing processes. • Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation framework enhancements. Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of experience in web automation testng. • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Python for test automation. • Experience with PyTest, unittest, or similar testing frameworks. • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser DOM. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Good to Have: • Exposure to API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or requests module in Python. • Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus Show more Show less
