Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Application Firewall Engineer based in Gurgaon. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining web application firewall solutions to ensure robust security for web applications. Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing security incidents, mitigating risks, managing application vulnerabilities, and assisting in the development of security policies and standards. Collaborating with various teams and staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends will also be essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Web Application Development, Web Applications, and Back-End Web Development
• Experience with Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with web application security practices, standards, and tools
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to system improvements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in cybersecurity and firewall technologies is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
