Job Description

A web analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data on user interaction with the platform and on the overall operation of the platform itself. You evaluate the conformity of all products to the customers" performance standards and specifications. In addition, you must evaluate whether the product meets all new standards, which is important for introducing updates in the future. As a Web Analyst for vidaXL, you and your team will be responsible to support multiple product teams with different goals and requirements. You'll be collaborating with them frequently on new feature implementations and evaluations. You will also guide and help the product teams understand how to set up their products and features to optimize the information they receive and use. Responsibilities Using a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity. Reporting your findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand. Communicating insights and providing solutions that have demonstrable results. Working with web development and marketing teams to implement your solutions. Understanding the behavior and expectations of online visitors. Staying up to date with the latest trends in online marketing and design. Perform problem analysis to resolve system or application issues Requirements Strong quantitative analytical skills. X year of experience in web analysis, online commerce, or related fields. In-depth knowledge of web analytics. Knowledge of Web Analytics tools (GA is a plus) and adjacent tools (GTM). Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Customer-centric mindset. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Team player. Good time-management skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Role Your role as a web analytics specialist is to form a connection between the business and the product. Your job is to help the business develop better products and features, but also to report back and evaluate the performance of these features. You'll be working together with different teams to determine the best ways to implement new features, but also assist the product teams in setting up measurements for these features. In the end, the Marketing Analytics & Insights team is a supportive team. Their goal is to enable the marketing teams to make better decisions and to become more and more data-driven. You do this by being involved in every stage of a product's cycle, from initiation to evaluation. To become more data-driven, education is also a big part of the journey towards a data-driven organization.
