Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced WBO:WBSU Customer Service Officer to join our team in Axis Bank Limited The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the BFSI sector, with excellent communication skills and knowledge of banking regulations

Roles and Responsibility
  • Process service requests efficiently and accurately while maintaining high service standards
  • Liaise with relationship managers, product/operations teams, and ensure customer delight
  • Handle all service requests and queries from customers, liaising with RMs and Product/Ops teams for timely delivery
  • Ensure smooth interaction with customers and quick processing of transactions within SLA
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies in all processes and workflows
  • Scrutinize client documents for processing and obtain exchange rates from the dealing room
  • Scan documents, transmit them to TFC/DTFC, and monitor work IDs until completion
  • Obtain approvals from competent authorities if required for transaction completion and coordinate with customers, respective coverage RMs, general operations division of the Branch, account manager at CBB, TFC/DTFC for execution
  • Safely custody and tally physical holding of FCY/TCQs/TCDC with inventory in the system
  • Engage with customers for deepening and feedback, follow up on EDPMS & IDPMS entries, realization of overdue export and import bills, and obtain FBFP/Bill of Entries for Mechatling Trade transactions
  • Respond promptly to customer queries and handle Free Format SWIFT messages received from Foreign Banks
  • Attend to Concurrent Audit, Internal Audit, and Structured Visit reports, ensuring rectification and submission of compliance within stipulated times
  • Record, send, and retrieve original documents to/from Record Management Agency
  • Promote onboarding of customers and migrate them to Digital platforms like TF-Connect / Fx-Connect / Paypro / CIB
Job Requirements
  • Graduation or MBA from a recognized university
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and norms
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of banking products and services
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Relationship building skills
  • Experience in Wholesale Banking Operations is preferred
