About the RoleWe are seeking a Sales Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or relevant skillsets. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing sales teams to meet sales and marketing objectives. You will also be responsible for delivering sales presentations to a range of people, so excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. Additionally, you will assist in business development efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to achieve the goals related to sales KPIs and quotas.
- Coordinate with internal marketing teams to ensure alignment with organizational culture.
- Training sales staff on effective sales communication strategies.
- Evaluate and implement new project management technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
- Increase sales and reach targets and goals set for the area and channel management.
- Execute outbound sales campaigns focused on target accounts through email, calls, social touches, and video.
- Develop a healthy sales pipeline that exceeds quota expectations.
- Share client leads with the sales team to focus on bringing new customers on board.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales and marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in lead conversion.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end digital marketing campaigns.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Experience in sales engineering for a reputed client in the scientific and analytical instruments' solution provider industry.
- Proven experience in sourcing new sales opportunities through cold-calling and emailing.
- Ability to study external marketing trends and understand personas, digital marketing tools, and techniques.
- Ability to hire and develop an outstanding sales team from the ground up.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen and expertise in creating business development procedures.
- Experience in sales and business development in the consumer financial services industry.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics.
- Highly driven, organized, and strategic.
Education and Experience
- Graduate degree in Technology or postgraduate degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
