Reports To: Operations Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of garments and raw materials. The role requires effective leadership, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations specific to the apparel industry, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: o Maintain accurate stock levels of finished goods, raw materials, trims, and packaging items. o Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and inventory reporting. o Implement FIFO/FEFO systems for better inventory turnover.

Warehouse Operations: o Plan, coordinate, and monitor the daily operations of the warehouse. o Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of customer and retail orders. o Manage inward and outward logistics, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.

Team Management: o Supervise and train warehouse staff including loaders, pickers, and supervisors. o Monitor performance, enforce discipline, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Space Optimization & Organization: o Design and implement efficient layout and storage solutions for better space utilization. o Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Vendor & Transport Coordination: o Liaise with transporters, courier partners, and internal dispatch teams for timely delivery. o Coordinate with procurement and production departments for smooth material flow.

Compliance & Documentation: o Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. o Maintain records of inward, outward, and returned goods. o Oversee documentation for GST, stock transfers, and e-way bills (if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in garments or textiles.

Proficient in WMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of garment packaging, SKU handling, and seasonal inventory dynamics.
