Warehouse Manager

As a Warehouse Manager at our company, you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management. You will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of a large-scale warehouse and ensuring the delivery of daily performance targets. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing large teams of outsourced staff directly and indirectly - Producing regular reports and statistics such as IN/OUT status report and dead stock report - Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency - Arranging and planning out warehouse layout, routes, and processing shipments - Resolving any arising problems or complaints - Supervising, coaching, and training the team - Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets - Maintaining metrics, analyzing data, and implementing improvements - Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations Qualifications required for this role include: - 4 years of proven working experience as a warehouse manager/Operation/Station/Hub/Last Mile Manager - Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices - Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives - Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases - Leadership skills and ability to manage staff - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the job type is full-time and the preferred work location is Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
