Job Description

Responsibilities: 1. Warehouse Operations Management: - Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure efficient utilization of space and resources. - Implement and maintain safety procedures to create a safe working environment for warehouse staff. - Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 2. Inventory Control: - Monitor inventory levels regularly to avoid stockouts and overstock situations. - Implement inventory tracking systems and conduct periodic stock audits. - Work closely with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels based on production schedules and customer demands. 3. Quality Control and Compliance: - Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all products meet industry standards. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations. 4. Team Management: - Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members. 5. Process Improvement: - Continuously identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the warehouse. - Implement modern warehousing practices to streamline operations and reduce costs. 6. Customer Service: - Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. - Address customer complaints related to warehouse and logistics operations promptly. 7. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse-related data. - Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational metrics. Qualification & Experience: - Graduate B.Sc. / B. com, Diploma in Chemicals, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. - Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Warehouse Manager in the synthetic resin industry, specifically catering to printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical companies. - Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics. - Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other relevant tools. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
