Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export/import processes, packaging, supply chain management, dispatch operations, and documentation. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, with a focus on optimizing last-mile logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Export/Import Operations:

• Manage and oversee the export and import processes to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.

2. Packaging and Dispatch:

• Ensure products are packaged securely and appropriately for transport.
• Oversee the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to optimize delivery routes and schedules.

3. Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping and receiving activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to transportation and logistics.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2 - 6 yrs of experience
• Candidates with prior experience in logistics, export/import, supply chain, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Preferred candidates with understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
