Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Quality Assurance Engineer:

Experience in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and knowledge of CMM programming software preferably Calypso.
Interpret and apply
AS9100
, customer specifications, and detailed aerospace drawings, including
GD&T
requirements.
Analyses measurement data to ensure parts conform to quality standards.
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action processes when non-conformances are identified.
Collaborate with quality engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure all aerospace quality standards are met.
Implementation of CMM automation, and inline inspection technologies.
Implementation of CMM Fixtures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection efficiency and reliability.
Maintain detailed records of inspections and measurement results.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Strong knowledge of AS9100.
Experience with CMM, GD&T, SPC, NDT, and metrology tools.
Proficiency in quality tools like 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, and PFMEA.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

BE/B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance in aerospace manufacturing.
