Job Summary:

The Desktop Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining desktop environments across the organization. This role ensures the stability, security, and optimal performance of end-user systems, including desktops, laptops, and related software.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktops and laptops.
Manage patching, updates, and security compliance for all endpoints.
Administer Active Directory, and user profiles.
Monitoring The Ticketing portal and handling the assigned Tickets.
Deploy and manage applications using SCCM, Intune, or similar tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot desktop performance, hardware failures, and software issues.
Maintain endpoint security solutions (antivirus, encryption, etc.).
Manage desktop imaging and deployment processes.
Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated desktop issues.
Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation.
Collaborate with the Service Desk and Infrastructure teams for issue resolution and projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 2–5 years in desktop administration or end-user computing roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.
Experience with SCCM, Intune, or other endpoint management tools.
Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation.
Experience with VDI environments (Citrix, VMware Horizon).
