WAITER

Job Summary:

The Waiter is responsible for providing courteous and efficient service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests courteously and assist them in seating.
• Present menu, take food and beverage orders accurately, and repeat orders to confirm.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure tables are properly set up before service and cleared efficiently after.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the service area at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth order flow and service.
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and report major issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and ongoing promotions.
• Ensure billing accuracy and process guest payments as per restaurant procedure.
• Follow all grooming, service, and safety standards as set by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Hotel Management or hospitality course is compulsory
• Prior experience (1–2 years) as Waiter/Steward in a reputed restaurant or hotel preferred or freshers who completed the hotel management course can applyl
• Good communication skills in English and Malayalam; Hindi knowledge an advantage.
• Pleasant personality, customer-oriented attitude, and team spirit.
• Ability to work under pressure and in flexible shifts.
