Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WAF Engineer located in Chennai. The WAF Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of Web Application Firewalls (WAF). Day-to-day tasks include configuring security policies, monitoring security alerts, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring optimal performance of the WAF system. The role also involves collaborating with other IT professionals to enhance the overall security infrastructure.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge in monitoring, managing and troubleshooting related to WAF
Experience in Application Onboarding, SSL, Ddos
Good understanding of web application security and threat mitigation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Relevant certifications F5, Imperva, Aramaic ( Optional )
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Product handson experience would be Imperva WAF, F5 WAF, Aramaic and other ( atleast strong knowledge in one solution )
