Job Description

As a Vice President - Chief Cybersecurity Officer (CCO) at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in providing control advisory and governance on various aspects of cybersecurity such as Application Security, DevSecOps practices, Threat modeling controls, Secure coding, and API security. Your responsibilities will include ensuring proactive identification of security risks, timely remediation to reduce risk exposure, and developing and refreshing security policies and standards to address emerging risks and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide control advisory and governance on Application Security, DevSecOps practices, Threat modeling controls, Secure coding, and API security. - Proactively identify security risks and ensure timely remediation to reduce risk exposure. - Develop and refresh security policies and standards to address emerging risks and changes in regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry with a strong background in risk management, technology, and information security. - Strong knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, Mobile, cloud security, and other AppSec related technologies. - Understanding of frameworks like STRIDE, DREAD, or PASTA for threat modeling and risk prioritization. - Proficiency in SDLC, DevSecOps practices, integration, and vulnerability management to analyze findings and translate them into business-impact narratives. - Experience in managing Technology Risk and Controls using frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT5, COSO, NIST, and industry standards. Additional Company Details: The role is based in Pune/Noida, IN. In this role, you will be expected to assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework to mitigate risk and protect operational, financial, and reputational risk. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders, identifying potential weaknesses in internal controls, developing reports on risk assessments, executing control reviews, and implementing adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework. As a Vice President, you will be expected to contribute to strategy development, resource planning, policy management, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation. If the position involves leadership responsibilities, you are expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors focusing on creating an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver excellence. You will advise key stakeholders, manage and mitigate risks, demonstrate leadership in managing risk, collaborate with other areas of work, and create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought. Building trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to accomplish key business objectives.
