Voip Network Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer at Poly | HP based in Bengaluru, India, you will play a key role in delivering 24/7 first-level technical support for our global customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Serving as the initial point of contact for technical support (voice & chat) related to video conferencing products. - Providing timely and accurate troubleshooting solutions with a customer-centric approach. - Managing first-level escalations and collaborating with advanced support teams. - Ensuring precise logging and updating of all customer interactions. - Identifying and guiding potential sales opportunities arising from support interactions. - Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and documenting feedback insights. - Contributing to the maintenance of knowledge base documentation and adherence to established processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Possession of an engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields. - 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, UC support, or video collaboration. - Strong expertise in VoIP, SIP, H323, H264, ISDN, and real-time communication technologies. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Call Manager, Zoom. - Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS. - Familiarity with cloud/UCaaS platforms. - Proficient troubleshooting skills with PC/OS and endpoint devices. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
