Job Description

Hiring for VMware System Administrator

Job Title:

System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for a high-paced data virtualization project involving
Denodo
.
Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2003, 2008, 2012).
Administer and maintain
VMware
infrastructure including ESXi hosts and vCenter.
Work with server hardware, particularly
HP Blade Servers
.
Develop and troubleshoot
PowerShell scripts
for Windows server automation.
Provide
Office 365
support in hybrid Exchange 2010 environments.
Participate in OS migrations, estate-wide remediation projects, and infrastructure support.
Conduct
BCM/Isolation tests
, system power-downs, and DR activities. Implement and manage
Active Directory Services
,
Group Policy
,
DNS
,
AD FS
, and
AD LDS
.
Utilize
Microsoft Identity Manager
for identity and access management.
Follow
ITIL
processes for incident, change, and problem management.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with
VMware virtualization platforms
and tools.
In-depth knowledge of
Windows Server OS
(2003/2008/2012).
Strong skills in
Active Directory
,
Group Policy
, and
Microsoft Exchange
.
Experience with
Office 365
hybrid configuration and administration.
Familiarity with
server hardware
(preferably HP blade servers).
Experience in
PowerShell scripting
and automation.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Knowledge of
ITIL Framework
and practical exposure to production environments.

Good to Have:

Experience with
Denodo
or other
data virtualization platforms
.
Exposure to identity federation and Microsoft IAM tools.
Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, or ITIL are a plus.
