Visa Counsellor

Location: CHANDIGARH Job Type: Full-time Department: Immigration / Client Services / Counseling Experience: 1–3 years (Freshers with training or knowledge of immigration processes may apply) Salary: [15000 - 35000 ] + Incentives Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Visa Counselor to join our immigration consultancy team. The Visa Counselor will be responsible for guiding clients through the end-to-end process of immigration, including eligibility assessment, documentation, application submission, and interview preparation for countries such as Canada, Australia, the UK, USA, and more. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and procedures. Key Responsibilities:Counsel prospective clients on immigration options, processes, and eligibility requirements for different countries. Conduct initial assessments and guide clients on selecting suitable visa categories (e.g., PR, skilled worker, student, dependent, tourist). Provide detailed guidance on document preparation and visa applications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies, rules, and changes in visa regulations. Coordinate with clients, embassies, consulates, and internal teams to ensure smooth application flow. Follow up with clients to ensure timely submission of documents and fee payments. Prepare clients for visa interviews (if applicable). Maintain records of client interactions, applications, and documentation using CRM tools. Meet monthly targets for conversions, consultations, and application submissions. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred: International Relations, Law, or related). 1–3 years of experience in immigration consulting, visa counseling, or a similar role. Strong understanding of visa processes for countries like Canada, Australia, UK, USA, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Customer-focused with the ability to handle queries professionally and empathetically. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Ability to multitask and work under deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:Certification in immigration consultancy (if applicable). Experience handling Permanent Residency (PR), Express Entry, PNPs, or skilled migration cases.
