Job Title: Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM) - Business Development Location: Marol, Andheri Department: Sales / Business Development Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Virtual Relationship Manager to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, conducting cold calls, and building strong virtual relationships with potential clients. This role demands strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and a go-getter attitude. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients across defined regions or sectors. Generate leads through telecalling, online research, databases, and referrals. Build and maintain strong virtual relationships with potential and existing clients. Schedule appointments, demos, or meetings for the sales team. Understand client needs and introduce appropriate product/service offerings. Maintain detailed records of lead interactions and status in CRM tools. Follow up on leads regularly to move them through the sales funnel. Meet and exceed weekly/monthly lead generation and outreach targets. Collaborate closely with the field sales/business development teams. Requirements: Graduate in any discipline. MBA is a plus. 13 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or customer-facing roles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (regional languages a plus). Strong persuasion and negotiation skills. Self-motivated and target-oriented with the ability to work independently. Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in BFSI, fintech, edtech, or B2B/B2C sales environments. Familiarity with lead generation tools and platforms like LinkedIn, Apollo, JustDial, etc. Ability to handle rejection and maintain enthusiasm during high-volume outreach.
