About the Company

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Virtual CFO will drive financial leadership in the following key areas:

1. Strategic Finance & Fund Planning

Optimize the use of client advances, vendor credit, and internal reserves.
Recommend fund allocation strategies and working capital structures.
Advise on financing options, risk mitigation, and capital structuring.

2. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

Forecast weekly/monthly cash flows and flag shortfalls proactively.
Ensure procurement plans (gold, diamonds) do not strain liquidity.
Identify opportunities to improve working capital efficiency.

3. Budgeting & Cost Oversight

Set up and monitor budget vs. actual frameworks.
Identify and report cost overruns in key functions (e.g., production, logistics, payroll).

4. Fundraising Support

Prepare MIS, projections, and investor/banking decks as needed.
Guide fundraising strategies including LC/PAD and credit facility planning.

5. Financial Systems & Reporting

Deliver key outputs such as:

Initial diagnostic & gap report
3-month rolling cash flow model
Monthly/quarterly budgeting framework
Working capital improvement plan
Fundraising roadmap

6. Strategic Advisory

Accepting low-margin or partial-payment orders
Launching new projects or capacity expansions
Growth initiatives across operations and marketing

Key Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of experience.
Prior experience operating as a CFO or senior finance leader in a manufacturing setup.
Deep understanding of working capital, fund flow, and financial controls.
Ability to work independently with remote discipline and accountability.
Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
