*About the Role*

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can repurpose and edit content from industry experts (finance, business, AI, and self-growth niche) into highly engaging reels, shorts, and YouTube videos. The editor should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and social media trends to make the content attractive, crisp, and viral-ready.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Edit raw video clips into engaging short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn clips, etc.)

* Add captions, subtitles, graphics, memes, stock footage, animations to improve retention

* Repurpose content from podcasts, YouTube videos, or existing reels into bite-sized, high-retention formats

* Design eye-catching thumbnails for YouTube and other platforms

* Maintain brand consistency in terms of style, fonts, colors, and tone

* Stay up-to-date with social media trends, viral hooks, and editing styles

* Work closely with the content/strategy team to brainstorm hooks and creative angles

* Optimize videos for multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

* (Bonus, not mandatory) – Assist with posting/scheduling videos on social media platforms from time to time

*Requirements*

* Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio/reel required)

* Strong command of editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve

* Knowledge of motion graphics & typography is a big plus

* Ability to create high-retention edits with engaging hooks

* Understanding of social media algorithms and what drives engagement

* Creativity + speed (should be able to edit multiple reels per week)

* Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to feedback quickly

*Nice to Have*

* Experience editing in finance/business/AI niche

* Familiarity with tools like After Effects, Canva, Photoshop, or Motion Array

* Basic knowledge of social media scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, Buffer, etc.)

*Compensation*

* Based on experience & number of videos edited (per video / monthly retainer)

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
