Your Responsibilities

Editing & Story Crafting

• Edit short and long-form videos for campaigns, documentaries, and social media (Reels, YouTube, brand films).
• Use AI tools (e.g.,

  Runway, Pika, Descript, Firefly, ChatGPT

  ) to enhance workflows — from transcript editing to auto-captioning, colour correction, or quick storyboarding.
• Combine emotion-driven pacing with clean, modern visuals that reflect brand tone.
• Add natural colour grading and sound design that capture the soul of handmade India.

AI-Enhanced Creativity

• Leverage AI for pre-visualization, script refinement, and creative ideation.
• Use AI-based tools for content repurposing — turning long interviews into short Reels, or multi-language subtitles.
• Explore AI-assisted motion graphics, scene stabilization, and image clean-up to maintain visual quality.

Collaboration & Brand Alignment

• Work closely with the

  brand, content, and founder teams

  to translate stories of soil, sarees, and sustainability into visual emotion.
• Understand and adapt tone across both brands —
• Chithriya Origins: earthy, poetic, sustainable.
• I Love Sarees: elegant, timeless, contemporary Indian.
• Create visual templates and moodboards using AI-enhanced tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly) for creative direction.

Quality & Efficiency

• Maintain an organized archive of footage, metadata, and project files.
• Optimize workflow for quick delivery without losing storytelling depth.
• Continuously explore and recommend new AI tools for editing, captions, or motion effects.

What You Bring

• 1–4 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or storytelling (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome).
• Proficiency in

  Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Working knowledge of

  AI tools for video editing and enhancement

  (Runway, Pika, Firefly, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, etc.).
• Strong sense of composition, pacing, and emotion-driven storytelling.
• A creative portfolio that demonstrates both aesthetic and narrative sensibility.

Bonus If You:

• Have edited docu-style, cultural, or artisan-led projects.
• Have experience creating AI-assisted visuals or motion design.
• Enjoy experimenting with hybrid workflows — manual + machine-assisted storytelling.
• Understand Tamil or regional contexts (for local interviews and subtitles).
