Job Description

What you'll do:

PodUp is looking for a skilled Podcast Video Editor who can edit both audio and video podcasts with clarity, precision, and creativity. You will be responsible for transforming raw recordings into polished episodes that meet our quality standards and help our clients grow their audience.

Key responsibilities:

Edit long-form video podcast episodes for YouTube and social platforms

Clean and enhance audio quality (remove noise, balance levels, EQ, compression, etc.)

Add motion graphics, captions, lower thirds, and branding elements as needed

Cut short-form clips/reels from long-form episodes

Sync multi-camera footage and audio

Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and meets delivery deadlines

Collaborate with producers and clients to match their creative direction

Export and organize final files in required formats

Requirements:

1–3 years of experience in video editing (podcast editing preferred)

Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a bonus)

Knowledge of audio cleanup tools (Adobe Audition preferred)

Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and engagement for podcast-style content

Ability to work with multi-camera footage and long-form timelines

Good communication and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

Experience editing shorts/reels for TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube

Basic color correction and color grading

Familiarity with podcast publishing workflows

Creative understanding of pacing, humor, and storytelling
