Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented video editor to join our team and help create engaging content mainly for YouTube and other social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn and more. The ideal candidate should be skilled in editing various video formats, including regular videos, YouTube Shorts videos, Insta Reels, and videos covering office events too.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit videos for YouTube & Instagram, ensuring high-quality, engaging content
2. Adapt different editing styles to suit the specific requirements of each project
3. Work closely with the content team and other stakeholders to understand the vision for each video and bring it to life through editing
4. Ensure videos are edited in a timely manner, meeting deadlines for publishing
5. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement new editing ideas and techniques
6. Make boring videos interesting with creative editing skills
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills across various platforms
2. The ideal candidate should be intelligent and creative, able to visualize the video and edit it with their own style and creativity.
3. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Filmora, etc.
4. Ability to adapt editing styles and techniques based on requirements
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
7. Demonstrate an understanding of different editing techniques used by various creators, and apply these insights to enhance our videos with unique and engaging edits

Preferred:

1. Experience editing social media videos, including Insta Reels
2. Experience creating YouTube thumbnails to complement edited videos
3. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media video editing
4. Understanding of different social media platforms and their video requirements
