Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time Video Editor to join our Delhi office.

The role involves end-to-end editing of long-form and short-form video content, including podcast episodes, teasers, trailers, and social media visuals for the DOAP platform and Pentagon Press productions.

You will be responsible for shaping raw footage into compelling visual narratives that align with our brand’s professional and strategic tone.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble podcast episodes, interviews, and documentary-style videos.
• Create trailers, teasers, reels, and short-form videos for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Design and integrate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
• Perform sound design, colour correction, and visual clean-up to ensure high production quality.
• Collaborate with the production and creative teams to refine final cuts.
• Manage project files, timelines, and deliverables with attention to detail.
• Stay updated on video trends, editing styles, and platform-specific best practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator for graphics integration is a plus.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.
• Experience editing podcast or conversation-based video content preferred.
• Excellent sense of design, timing, and sound.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or Communications (preferred, not mandatory).
