Key Responsibilities

  • Narrative Editing & Story Enhancement:

    Take raw footage and transform it into emotionally engaging, visually rich stories that reflect the client's vision and narrative goals.


  • Collaboration with Creative Teams:

    Work closely with story writers, designers, and producers to maintain consistency in tone, pace, and visual identity across projects.


  • Social Media Adaptation:

    Edit short-form content specifically optimized for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.


  • Sound & Visual Design:

    Handle basic sound mixing, audio syncing, color correction, and grading to ensure a polished final product.


  • Brand-Driven Visuals:

    Ensure each video aligns with client branding and identity, while maintaining a natural, non-promotional storytelling flow.


  • Post-Production Workflow:

    Manage post-production timelines, organize assets, and maintain version control across multiple projects.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Technical Mastery:

    Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar editing software.


  • Storytelling Instincts:

    Strong sense of pacing, transitions, and visual rhythm to enhance emotional and narrative impact.


  • Attention to Detail:

    Ability to notice and correct visual/audio inconsistencies and maintain high-quality standards.


  • Creative Collaboration:

    Strong communication skills and openness to feedback during multiple rounds of creative revision.


  • Sound Design Awareness:

    Understanding of how music, sound effects, and dialogue contribute to storytelling.


  • Social Media Fluency:

    Knowledge of current trends, formats, and algorithms on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.


  • Deadline Discipline:

    Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under tight schedules without compromising quality.


Bonus Experience

  • Experience working on wedding films, event documentaries, or luxury/lifestyle brand content.


  • Familiarity with motion graphics or animation.


  • A background in cinematography or on-site video production.


  • Experience working in a creative agency or post-production house.
